Baseball Recap: Edgewood Comes Up Short

After soaring to ten runs the game before, Edgewood was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Joppatowne Mariners. The Rams were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Mariners earlier this season, when they won 10-5.

Edgewood's loss was their eighth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2. As for Joppatowne, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Edgewood will square off against rival Aberdeen at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Joppatowne is set to take on their familiar foe North East at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
