Floyd County blew Carroll County out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday Carroll County got their revenge. The Buffaloes fell just short of the Cavaliers by a score of 52-49. On the bright side, the 49- point effort marked the Buffaloes' highest-scoring contest to date.

Having lost for the first time this season, Floyd County fell to 6-1. As for Carroll County, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.
