Softball Recap: Roland-Story Comes Up Short

Roland-Story has relied on a stalwart pitchers averaging 3.86 runs allowed per game, but that average took a hit on Friday. They came up short against the Prairie City-Monroe Mustangs, falling 11-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Norsemen were not able to get on the board.

Roland-Story's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Prairie City-Monroe, their win bumped their record up to 7-1.

Coming up, Roland-Story will challenge Saydel at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. The Norsemen are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Prairie City-Monroe, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Pleasantville at 5:30 p.m.
