Basketball Recap: Highland Park Takes a Loss

Highland Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They were outmatched by the Panhandle Panthers and fell 73-10. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Hornets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 74-11 back in January.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Panhandle, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 26-3.

Highland Park will challenge Wheeler at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Highland Park is facing Wheeler at the right time seeing as Wheeler is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Panhandle, they will head out on the road to take on Memphis at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Panhandle's defense has only allowed 24.8 points per game this season, so Memphis' offense will have their work cut out for them.
