            Basketball Recap: Sidwell Friends Quakers vs. Flint Hill Huskies        
        
		
        
        
            Sidwell Friends is ranked highly in their home state and   on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Flint Hill. The Sidwell Friends Quakers managed  a  54-50 victory over the Flint Hill Huskies. This was a revenge game for the Quakers: when they faced off against the Huskies  back in January, they had to take a  60-57  defeat.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sidwell Friends to victory, but perhaps none more so than   Ian Condon, who  almost  dropped  a double-double with 16  points and nine  rebounds. Condon has been hot, having  posted eight or more  boards the last five times he's  played.  Caleb Gillus was another key player,  putting up eight points.
 Sidwell Friends  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with 12  offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  pulled down at least eight  offensive boards in four consecutive  contests.

Sidwell Friends' win was  their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which  pushed their record up to 19-5. As for Flint Hill, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next  game,  an  89-68  victory against St. Andrew's Episcopal on the 17th.
