Volleyball Recap: Gorham Fayette Takes a Loss

Gorham Fayette was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 19th straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stryker Panthers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Panthers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

Kennedy Kunkle paced Gorham Fayette's offense, picking up seven kills. Kunkle got some help from Kelsie Storrs and her 14 assists. Finally, Kunkle was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

Gorham Fayette's defeat dropped their record down to 1-19. As for Stryker, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-7.

Gorham Fayette wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Hilltop on the 9th. As for Stryker, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Edon on the 9th.
