Softball Recap: Whitesboro Comes Up Short

Chittenango hit Whitesboro with a six-run seventh inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Warriors took an 8-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Whitesboro now has a losing record of 7-8. As for Chittenango, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whitesboro will challenge New Hartford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Chittenango, they will take on Solvay at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
