Baseball Game Preview: Marble Falls Mustangs vs. Lampasas Badgers

For the second straight game, Marble Falls will face off against Lampasas. The Mustangs will square off against the Badgers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Marble Falls' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so Lampasas' hitters will have their work cut out for them.

On Tuesday, it was close, but Marble Falls sidestepped Lampasas for a 7-5 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted against the Badgers since March 7, 2023.

For Lampasas' part, they saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Dimas, who went 1-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Marble Falls' victory bumped their record up to 16-5. As for Lampasas, the defeat snapped their winning streak at nine games and leaves them with a 16-6-4 record.
