Football Game Preview: Woodbridge Barrons vs. Rahway Indians

Two dominant backs in Joshua Allen and Andrew Avent are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Woodbridge Barrons will host the Rahway Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Woodbridge is headed into Friday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They took a hard 17-0 fall against St. Joseph on Saturday. The game marked the first time this year in which the Barrons were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Rahway waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They were the clear victors by a 28-7 margin over the Cougars. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.

Rahway's win came from a few key players Woodbridge will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ja'Quan Robinson, who threw for 106 yards and three touchdowns on only nine passes.

Rahway was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 322 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 322 rushing yards in five consecutive games.

Rahway didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Jason Louis, Synceir Toussaint, and Ziare Fields picked up one apiece.

Rahway's record now sits at 6-3. As for Woodbridge, their defeat dropped their record down to 7-2.
