Navarre piles up the points against Pensacola Catholic

Recap: Navarre Raiders vs. Pensacola Catholic Crusaders

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Choctawhatchee, the Navarre Raiders were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 91-56 victory over Pensacola Catholic. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.

Navarre got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Darius Cunningham out in front who scored 19 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. The matchup was Cunningham's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jonah Forrest, who scored 15 points along with 5 assists and 4 steals.

Navarre's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Pensacola Catholic, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navarre won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Crestview at 7:00 p.m. on December 6th. One thing working in Crestview's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Pensacola Catholic, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against West Florida Baptist Academy at 6:30 p.m.
