Basketball Game Preview: Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers vs. Weeki Wachee Hornets

The Angeline Academy of Innovation Archers will head out to take on the Weeki Wachee Hornets at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Thursday, Angeline Academy of Innovation ended up a good deal behind Pasco and lost 44-27. The Archers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Weeki Wachee played a tough contest on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They had to suffer through a 64-31 loss at the hands of Central. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 54-15.

Angeline Academy of Innovation will have to keep a close watch on Donnie BeCude and Conner Boyle, a pair of players who had a big impact on Weeki Wachee's prior game. BeCude went 6-for-13 on his way to 13 points and five rebounds, while Boyle posted seven points. BeCude has also also been stellar as far as shooting accuracy is concerned: he's posted one of at least 46% every time he's hit the court this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Weeki Wachee fell to 2-1. As for Angeline Academy of Innovation, they now have a losing record of 1-2.
