Basketball Recap: Vernon Takes a Loss

Vernon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 56-34 to the Henrietta Bearcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Lions have suffered against the Bearcats since December 4, 2021.

Vernon's defeat dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Henrietta, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Bowie the next time they take the court. Vernon will host Bowie at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, while Henrietta will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on February 4th.
