Volleyball Recap: Cy-Fair Takes a Loss

Cy-Fair extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 4-6. They lost 3-0 to the Clear Springs Chargers. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Bobcats have suffered since November 8, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Cy-Fair lost, don't look at Pearson Noone. Despite the final result, she had 14 digs and two aces. Noone is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last three games she's played. Amaiya Lyles also deserves some recognition as she had her first block of the season.

As for Clear Springs, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-1. That three set margin sets a new team best for them this season.

Clear Springs was led to victory by Lianna Kearns and Aubree Svoboda. Kearns had 21 digs and four assists, while Svoboda had 11 digs and four aces. That's the most digs Kearns has posted since back in October of 2024.

Looking ahead, Cy-Fair will be taking part in a tournament against Kingwood at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clear Springs, they are taking a road trip to challenge Stratford at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
