Volleyball Game Preview: Commerce Tigers vs. Prairiland Patriots

Commerce is 0-10 against Prairiland since September of 2020 but things could change on Tuesday. The Tigers will host the Patriots at 6:30 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

If Mount Vernon wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Commerce, they should've done a better job of containing Kaleigh Robrecht. Commerce came out on top against Mount Vernon by a score of 3-1 on Friday thanks in part to Robrecht, who had 16 digs and one assist. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 16-25, 25-19.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Prairiland, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. Everything went their way against Rains on Thursday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The Patriots not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).

Prairiland pushed their record up to 11-17 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Commerce, their win bumped their record up to 20-11.
