 Skyline lost against Mountain View back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Saturday. The Skyline Coyotes fell  7-3 to the Mountain View Toros. Skyline has now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Skyline saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Kenyon Johnson, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-4.
 On Mountain View's side,  Chase Welker made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   not allowing a single  earned run while striking out eight over six innings pitched. Welker was also big at the plate,  going 1-for-3 with three  RBI and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Kooper Klein was  incredible,  going 2-for-2 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  double.
 Skyline's loss dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Mountain View, they pushed their record up to 8-12 with that  victory, which was their third straight  at home.
 Skyline will be staying on the road  on Monday to face off against Red Mountain at 6:30  p.m. Red Mountain is strutting in with some hitting muscle, as they've averaged 7.7  runs per game this season. As for Mountain View, they will be playing at home against Westwood at 3:45  p.m.  on Monday. Westwood's pitching crew has only allowed 3.8  runs per game  this season, so Mountain View's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
