Volleyball Recap: San Antonio Christian Victorious

San Antonio Christian picked up another tournament win on Saturday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial Eagles. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Sara Cleveland paced San Antonio Christian's offense, picking up seven kills. Cleveland got some help from Mary Ellen Sturm and her ten assists. Annabelle Warren and Sydney Smith kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

San Antonio Christian now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.

Coming up, San Antonio Christian will square off against East Central at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, they will take on King at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
