Mendon came out on top against Bellevue on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive 11-run fifth inning. The Hornets blew past the Broncos 15-1. The result was nothing new for the Hornets, who have now won ten matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Ally Butler was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk).
