After having lost a blowout in their previous game against North Fork, Olathe was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Cedaredge Bruins and snuck past 9-8. For Olathe, this counts as revenge for the 7-3 defeat Cedaredge walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2023.

Evan Eddy made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over six innings while giving up three earned (and four unearned) runs off nine hits (and only one walk).
