Baseball Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Comes Up Short

Hampton Roads Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Norfolk Academy, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Navigators fell just short of the Bulldogs by a score of 8-6 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Navigators in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost five in a row.

Finn Dignan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Tyler Motley, who went 3-for-4 with one run.

Hampton Roads Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Norfolk Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.

As of now, neither Hampton Roads Academy nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
