Basketball Recap: Clifton-Clyde Picks Up Second Consecutive Win

Clifton-Clyde won the last time they faced Axtell, and Sevy Wurtz did her part to make sure it happened again. The Clifton-Clyde Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 46-44 victory over the Axtell Eagles on Saturday thanks in part to Wurtz, who posted 19 points in addition to seven boards and seven steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Clifton-Clyde's points.
