Mountain Top Christian couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They had to suffer through a rough 64-30 loss at the hands of Rock County Christian. Mountain Top Christian has struggled against Rock County Christian recently, as their game on Tuesday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Rock County Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gideon Ukwuorji led the charge by scoring 14 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tony Thompson, who scored 9 points along with 17 rebounds and 4 blocks.
Mountain Top Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Rock County Christian, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 6-0.
Mountain Top Christian will be playing at home against Oakhill Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Rock County Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Wisconsin School for the Deaf at 6:00 p.m. on December 7th.
