Grand Oaks posted their closest victory since September 6, 2024 on Saturday. They skirted past the Brandeis Broncos 2-1. The win continues a trend for the Grizzlies in their matchups with the Broncos: they've now won three in a row.

It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Grand Oaks got the one that really mattered. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-27, 25-22.

Grand Oaks now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Brandeis, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-5.

Coming up, Grand Oaks will take on The Woodlands at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Grizzlies' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Brandeis, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Cy-Fair at 11:30 a.m.
