Volleyball Recap: Brandywine Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Brandywine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Berrien Springs Shamrocks. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Shamrocks this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss last Saturday.

While Brandywine ultimately came up short, they really made Berrien Springs work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 27-29, 25-21, 25-21.

Brandywine's defeat dropped their record down to 11-22. As for Berrien Springs, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-16-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Brandywine and Berrien Springs will both be playing St. Joseph the next time they take the court. The Bobcats will head out to face the Bears at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while the Shamrocks will host them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
