Volleyball Recap: River View Snags Ninth Win in Last Ten Games

River View won the last time they faced Maysville and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Black Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Panthers.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant River View was: they took every set by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-7, 25-7.

River View found their leader in sophomore Lindyn Fry, who had three digs and three aces. Kendall Laudick also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

River View was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 29 consecutive matchups dating back to last season.

River View is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season. As for Maysville, they are on a 12-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-21.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, River View and Indian Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Maysville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
