Northland Christian entered their tilt with Lathrop on Tuesday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. They were the clear victors by a 9-2 margin over the Mules. Considering Northland Christian has won six contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Northland Christian's win was their eighth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-4. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Lathrop, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost seven of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northland Christian will head out to take on Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lathrop, they will venture away from home to challenge South Harrison at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Mules are facing the Bulldogs at the right time seeing as the Bulldogs are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
