Softball Recap: Colbert County Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Colbert County couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They came up short against the Saint James Trojans on Friday, falling 9-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Indians have suffered since April 16th.

Hallie Holland was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one home run and one stolen base.

This is the second loss in a row for Colbert County and nudges their season record down to 50-11. As for Saint James, the win (which was their 14th in a row) raised their record to 40-6-1.

Colbert County didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 12-11 victory against Madison Academy on the 22nd. Saint James does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
