            Softball Recap: Canyon Ridge Riverhawks vs. Twin Falls Bruins        
        
		
        
        
            Canyon Ridge had lost 15 straight on the road dating back to last season, but  on Thursday they dropped their record down to 1-11 to make it 16. They lost  22-7 to the Twin Falls Bruins. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bruins this season, as they also lost their prior matchup  15-3  on Thursday.
  Megan Kennedy and  Audrey Wood stepped up to the plate in a big way.  Kennedy  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  home run and four  RBI, while  Wood  went a perfect 3-for-3 with two  stolen bases, three  runs,  and one  double. Those  stolen bases were  Wood's first of the season. Another player making a difference was  Dani Toolson, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with two  stolen bases and three  runs.
As for Twin Falls, the  victory was  the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-9. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by ten  runs or more this season.
 On Twin Falls' side, they got a  massive  performance out of  Molly Hodge, who  got on base  in four of her five plate appearances with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. Hodge is  on a roll when it comes to  home runs, as she's  now  launched  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played.  Libby Torgrimson was another key player,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with three  runs, three  RBI,  and one  double.
 We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Canyon Ridge is set to  take on  their familiar foe Burley  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Twin Falls will  face off against  rival Jerome  at 3:00  p.m.  on Tuesday.
