Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask 1 of 1 Academy). They really took it to the Elevation Prep Academy Honey Badgers for the full four quarters, racking up a 109-39 victory. With the - ahead 60-21 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.

LJ Rush continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, shooting 12-for-19 from long range and dropping a double-double on 45 points and ten assists. What's more, he also racked up five steals, the most he's had since back in December of 2023. Adier Job was another key player, putting up 11 points along with five assists and four steals.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: 1 of 1 Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 36 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Several Honey Badgers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was DIDIER ILUNGA, who posted 12 points and eight boards. The team also got some help courtesy of STEPHEN SHAKO, who put up ten points and three steals.

Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 84.6 points per game. As for Elevation Prep Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-9.

1 of 1 Academy will challenge Colorado Prep at 3:00 p.m. on January 18th. Colorado Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past four games -- so hopefully 1 of 1 Academy likes a good challenge. As for Elevation Prep Academy, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-61 victory against Charlotte Elite Academy on the 15th.
