Volleyball Recap: Monroe Takes a Loss

Monroe lost against Pioneer last Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trojans fell 3-1 to the Pioneers.

While Monroe had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 18 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 19-25, 25-19.

Monroe's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Pioneer, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monroe will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Dexter at 7:00 p.m. on the 30th. As for Pioneer, they will welcome Chelsea at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
