Softball Recap: Bermudian Springs Comes Up Short

After soaring to 17 runs the game before, Bermudian Springs was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They came up short against the Greencastle-Antrim Blue Devils, falling 14-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 16-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Bermudian Springs saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lily Hann, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double marked the first that Hann hit this season.

The defeat snapped Bermudian Springs' winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 3-5 record. As for Greencastle-Antrim, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 6-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bermudian Springs will face off against Biglerville at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Greencastle-Antrim, they will challenge Boiling Springs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
