Football Recap: Brawley Falls to Palm Desert in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Brawley had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They fell 23-12 to the Palm Desert Aztecs on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Aztecs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Brawley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jonathan Piseno rushed for 81 yards and a pair of scores on only ten carries.

Coming up, Brawley will welcome Rancho Bernardo at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Palm Desert, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Central at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
