Softball Recap: Medway Comes Up Short

Medway and Dighton-Rehoboth Regional squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Medway had to settle for second. They came up short against the Falcons, falling 13-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 12-1 on Thursday.

Olivia Klaus was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was her first of the season.

Medway's defeat was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 11-12. As for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 25-2.

As of now, neither Medway nor the Falcons have any future games scheduled.
