Softball Recap: Hackensack Comes Up Short

If Hackensack was riding high fresh off their 19-0 takedown of Dwight Morrow on Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Comets lost 17-3 to the Paramus Spartans on Thursday. The defeat continues a trend for the Comets in their meetings with the Spartans: they've now lost four in a row.

Briana Darling was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one triple, and one run. She has been hot for a while, having posted at least one stolen base the last 20 times she's played.
