Baseball Recap: Summit Charter Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

Summit Charter Collegiate Academy made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Farmersville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Bears fell just short of the Aztecs by a score of 10-8 on Tuesday. The Bears just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

Valentin Sierra and Seth Ishmael did some serious damage despite the final result: Sierra went 2-for-3 with three stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI, while Ishmael went a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. Mason Maddox also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Summit Charter Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 1-9-1. As for Farmersville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-10-1.

Coming up, Summit Charter Collegiate Academy will venture away from home to square off against Granite Hills at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Farmersville, they will welcome Orosi at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
