Softball Recap: Grandview Heights Falls to Buckeye Valley in First Game of Season

Grandview Heights unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Buckeye Valley Barons on Wednesday, falling 13-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Bobcats of the 10-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

The victory (which was Buckeye Valley's third in a row) raised their record to 3-2.

Coming up, Grandview Heights is taking a road trip to take on Franklin Heights at 5:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Buckeye Valley, they will host Whitehall-Yearling at 5:15 p.m. on Monday.
