            Baseball Preview: Penn-Trafford Warriors vs. Brighton Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            The Penn-Trafford Warriors will take on the Brighton Bulldogs at 1:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Both come into the  matchup bolstered by wins in their previous  matches.
Penn-Trafford had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. Everything went their way against Norwin on Friday as Penn-Trafford made off with  a  9-3 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  victory the Warriors have posted  against the Knights since April 18, 2018.
 Dom Delio looked comfortable as he  tossed four innings while giving up just two earned runs off   two  hits.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Logan Matrisch, who  fired off two  home runs and five  RBI while going 2-for-4. What's more,  he posted two  runs, the most he's  had since back in May of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of  Colton Tyburski, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Brighton beat West Mifflin 11-7  on Monday.
 Austin Sickler made a splash no matter where he played. He  pitched five innings while giving up just one earned  (and two unearned) runs off   two  hits. Sickler was also big at the plate,  getting on base  in four of his five plate appearances with one  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs.
 In other batting news,  Austin Waltemath was  incredible,  going 3-for-4 with three  RBI, one  triple,  and one  run.  Aiden Tate was another key player,  scoring a  run and  stealing  Two bases. while going 2-for-4.
