Baseball Game Preview: Joppatowne Mariners vs. Bel Air Bobcats

For the second straight game, Joppatowne will face off against Bel Air. The Mariners will welcome the Bobcats at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Considering Joppatowne has lost seven straight at home (dating back to last season) and Bel Air five straight on the road, this one might come down to who's more desperate to change their momentum.

Joppatowne came up short against Bel Air on Monday, falling 22-1.

For Bel Air's part, Aaden Troast looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

At the plate, Braxton Stocking was incredible, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Garrett Diepold was another key player, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs and four RBI.

Bel Air hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Joppatowne struck out eight times.

Bel Air's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Joppatowne, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-8.
