Basketball Recap: Bradshaw Christian Falls Short of Western Sierra Collegiate Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Bradshaw Christian can now relate to. They fell just short of the Western Sierra Collegiate Academy Wolves by a score of 52-50 on Wednesday. While the Pride didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Wolves 14-10 in the first quarter.

When it comes to explaining why Bradshaw Christian lost, don't look at AJ Torres. Despite the final result, he posted 14 points. Elijah Bowler was another key player, putting up eight points and seven boards.

John Harb was his usual excellent self, scoring 17 points for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy. Another player making a difference was Franco Omega, who earned 11 points.

Bradshaw Christian's loss dropped their record down to 10-19. As for Western Sierra Collegiate Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.
