Carver Birmingham suffered their biggest defeat since March 18, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the John Carroll Catholic Cavaliers, falling 16-3. The Rams' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Jonathan Scott was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run while going 1-for-1. What's more, he posted two RBI, the most he's had since back in February. Sidney Nichols was another key player, going a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Carver Birmingham's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for John Carroll Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-9 record this season.
