Shining Stars Sports Academy won the last time they faced Tournament Opponent, and Shamar Curley did his part to make sure it happened again. The Shining Stars Sports Academy Panthers walked away with a 62-54 win over Tournament Opponent on Sunday which was due in part to Curley, who dropped a double-double with 16 points and ten rebounds. That's the most boards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Another player making a difference was Dean Quaye, who had nine points. He continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last four games he's played.

Shining Stars Sports Academy is on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-11 record this season.

Shining Stars Sports Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Tournament Opponent, they will take on Lab University Prep National at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Tournament Opponent has given up an average of 56.4 points per game this season, so hopefully the team got some defensive drills in this week.
