St. Joseph had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.7 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They walked away with a 66-55 victory over the Sayreville Bombers. Given the Falcons' advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked fourth, while the Bombers are ranked 63rd) , the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

St. Joseph's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Aidan Carter, who dropped a double-double with 14 points and ten rebounds. Carter is also on a roll when it comes to field goal percentage, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last eight games he's played. Another player making a difference was Andrew Kretkowski, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 13 boards.

St. Joseph's win bumped their record up to 20-1. As for Sayreville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Joseph will challenge St. Thomas Aquinas at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Sayreville, they and St. Joseph Regional will face off at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday without much rest, having both just played.
