Lake Central won the last time they faced Crown Point and things went their way on Saturday too. The Indians walked away with a 2-0 win over the Bulldogs. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Indians.

Teo Olmstead paced Lake Central's offense, picking up seven kills. Olmstead got some help from Brady Cook and his 17 assists. Danny Smith controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Lake Central's victory bumped their record up to 21-6. As for Crown Point, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-13.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake Central will host Merrillville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in the Indians' favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while the Pirates have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road. As for Crown Point, they will welcome Portage at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Indians at the right time seeing as the Indians are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
