Recap: Lafayette Commodores vs. Ingomar Falcons
The Lafayette Commodores lost against the Ingomar Falcons back in December of 2018, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Lafayette took a 57-50 hit to the loss column at the hands of Ingomar. Lafayette has not had much luck with Ingomar recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Ingomar got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Olen Falkner out in front who scored 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Joseph Petty, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds and 5 assists.
Lafayette now has a losing record at 5-6. As for Ingomar, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.
Lafayette's homestand continues as they prepare to take on Regents at 12:00 p.m. on December 9th. Ingomar is on the road again on Tuesday and play against North Pontotoc at 7:30 p.m. on December 5th. North Pontotoc will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings (they are ranked 207th, while Ingomar is ranked 32nd).
