Basketball Recap: Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots vs. Vassar Vulcans

The Unionville-Sebewaing Patriots lost against the Vassar Vulcans back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Unionville-Sebewaing fell 56-48 to the Vulcans. Unionville-Sebewaing has struggled against the Vulcans recently, as their matchup on Friday was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

It was another big night for Austin Long, who scored 20 points along with five steals for Vassar. Madix Gorleski was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds.

Unionville-Sebewaing has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for Vassar, their victory bumped their record up to 3-14.
