It was a good run, but George Rogers Clark unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 60-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Montgomery County Indians. The Cardinals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Indians earlier this season, when they won 80-72.

George Rogers Clark's loss was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 25-5. As for Montgomery County, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.
