Soccer Recap: Clovis Takes a Loss

Clovis lost against Clovis North back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Clovis Cougars took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clovis North Broncos.

Clovis hit Clovis North with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caleb Farmen, Alexander Rodriguez, and Daniel Hernandez.

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 10-3-3. As for Clovis North, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-1-2 record this season.

Clovis and Clovis North should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps California Rankings. Clovis (ranked 54th) will meet Clovis East (ranked 478th) at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Clovis North will challenge Central at 4:00 p.m. on Friday up 352 places (14 vs. 366).
