A well-balanced attack led the Wesley Chapel Wildcats over the Land O' Lakes Gators in every quarter on their way to victory on Wednesday. Wesley Chapel enjoyed a cozy 60-44 victory over Land O' Lakes. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Wesley Chapel.

Dayla Christopher continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 20 points and 15 rebounds. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sanai Forrester-Jhagroo, who scored ten points along with six rebounds and two steals.

Despite the defeat, Land O' Lakes had strong showings from Lily Meier, who scored 22 points along with six steals, and Phoebe Reimer, who scored nine points along with ten rebounds and seven blocks. That was a full 50% of Land O' Lakes' points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points.

Wesley Chapel's win bumped their record up to 12-7. As for Land O' Lakes, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-5 record this season.

Wesley Chapel will take on Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Mitchell focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 27 on Thursday. As for Land O' Lakes, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Anclote at 6:30 p.m. on January 18th. Anclote will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings (they are ranked 480th, while Land O' Lakes is ranked 154th).
