Springville is 8-2 against Wasatch since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. Springville will welcome Wasatch at 3:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Wasatch will be up against a hot Springville team: the squad just extended their winning streak to four. Springville blew past Cedar 9-3 on Saturday.

Allyx Haveron made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing six innings while giving up three earned runs off five hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in five consecutive appearances. She was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and one double.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Morgan Fairbourne, who scored three runs while going 3-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tyler Haveron, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
Springville kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Wasatch never let their opponents score on Friday. They put the hurt on Lone Peak with a sharp 11-0 win. The high-flying hitting performance was a huge turnaround for the Wasps considering their two-run performance the game before.
Peyton Sandlund and Sydnee McPhie did most of the damage at the plate: Sandlund scored three runs and stole four bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances, while McPhie scored two runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-3. Brylee Smith was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
Wasatch moved to 3-7 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Springville, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.
Tuesday's matchup will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Springville hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .418. However, it's not like Wasatch struggles in that department as they've averaged .316. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Springville took their victory against Wasatch in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 8-0. Will Springville repeat their success, or does Wasatch has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
