Gilbert Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. Everything went their way against the San Tan Foothills Sabercats as they made off with a 17-3 victory. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten matchups by six runs or more this season.

Tyler Burr made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. Burr was also stellar in the batter's box, firing off two home runs, seven RBI, and one double while going 3-for-3. Those two home runs gave him a new career-high.

In other batting news, Camden Pallas was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, five RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Sam Webb, who got on base in two of his three plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Gilbert Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .576. They are a perfect 8-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Gilbert Christian's win bumped their record up to 15-8. As for San Tan Foothills, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-15.

Coming up, Gilbert Christian will square off against Payson at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for San Tan Foothills, they will challenge ALA - Anthem South at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The Sabercats are facing the Titans at the right time seeing as the Titans are stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
