Smiths Station's contest on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. Their defense stepped up to hand the Shaw Raiders a 3-0 shutout. While Smiths Station didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-15-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
